More Instruments Discovered in Kandern!
Hard to believe but true: In November 2009 Bürgermeister
Winterhalter
called me up and told me the museum was being renovated and they had
discovered more instruments: two bass clarinets and two clarinets. Of
course I went to see the find as soon as possible! All four instruments
appear to be in very good shape though not yet playable. They are all
complete and one of the bass clarinets even has a reed and ligature! We
hope the instruments can be restored soon. Have a look!:
Kaum zu glauben, aber wahr: Im
November 2009 rief mich Bürgermeister Winterhalter an und
erzählte, dass durch eine Renovierung des Museums noch mehr
Klarinetten aufgetaucht wären! Natürlich ging ich so bald wie
möglich, den Fund anzusehen! Alle vier Instrumente scheinen in
sehr gutem Zustand zu sein, sind aber noch nicht spielbar. Sie sind jedoch alle
komplett, und eine der Bass-Klarinetten hat sogar ein Blatt und eine
Blattschraube aus Metall! Wir hoffen, dass die Instrumente bald
